Flexible Loans

Our leading lenders offer a wide variety of competitive loan products, including flexible loans. These are available in range of different amounts and repayment terms. Loans can be used for many purposes including buying a home or a car, going on a holiday or for debt consolidation.

If you are thinking of using flexible loans to consolidate debts then you have a couple of things to consider. Although you could be paying less than the sum of your present debts with your monthly repayments, you will be paying for a much longer time. You could also find that having just one creditor will reduce the pressure you may have been under from your present creditors. Even though you may have to pay early settlement charges to your creditors when you pay off your debts you could save a lot of money, especially if you use a secured, low interest loan. It will also help you to bring your debt under one roof and work towards lowering your debt in the future. It is vital that you make sure that you can afford the repayments before you take out a debt consolidation loan.

The main categories for flexible loans are secured and unsecured loans. Unsecured loans do not require the borrower to provide the lender with any security to back the loan and this added risk to the lending company results in higher interest rates. There is less risk for the borrower but if they fail to pay back the loan the lender could take them to court. In the case of secured loans, of which a mortgage is a prime example, the borrower provides the lender with collateral, their property. This is low risk for the lending company because they always have the property as insurance if the borrower defaults on repayments and fails to repay the loan. The borrower is risking their home and this why it is so important that you make sure that you can afford the repayments on a loan before committing to an agreement. Secured flexible loans are usually approved faster than unsecured loans but can take longer to process.

Flexible loans are repayable on a monthly basis and you will be charged interest by the lending company. This is called the Annual Percentage Rate or APR and the exact amount you are charged will be determined by the amount you borrow, the repayment term and the lender’s view of your ability to pay back the loan as agreed. This is where your credit history, the equity in your property and your circumstances are considered. The typical rates advertised by lenders are only an indication of the APR you are likely to get but not a guarantee.

Depending on the loan company, you could be given the flexibility to make over-payments and to pay in lump-sums with flexible loans. This will allow you to clear the debt over a shorter period than agreed at the outset and can potentially save you a substantial amount of money. You may even be able to withdraw amounts from the loan account, providing you stay within you credit limit. A further option is payment breaks which will allow you to take a break from you monthly repayments at the beginning or during the term of the loan. An adjustment will be made to your monthly repayments to include any accrued interest so that you still pay off the debt in the term agreed.

Fast Loans

For competitive fast loans you can’t beat our selection of loans from our leading lenders. You may want to renovate your home, go on a holiday, buy a new car or perhaps you want a loan to settle your outstanding debts on credit cards, store cards or arrears on monthly bills. Whatever your reason, our fast loans could be the answer.

Depending on whether or not you own your own home and your investment preferences, you have a number of options available to you. The two main categories of fast loans are secured loans and unsecured loans. A secured loan is one which requires the borrower to provide the lender with some form of security, their property. The borrower’s home serves as insurance against the loan which means that the lender is taking a fairly low risk while the borrower could lose their home if they fail to pay back the loan. This is why interest rates for secured fast loans are generally lower than for unsecured loans. With an unsecured loan there is no obligation by the borrower to offer any form of security or collateral and this means that the lender takes a higher perceived risk and as a result charges higher interest rates. It is wise to make sure that you can afford the repayments on fast loans before committing to an agreement because if you default on repayments and do not pay back the loan as agreed, you will eventually lose you home. Even with unsecured loans, lenders can act aggressively to protect their investment.

Fast loans are available for various amounts and repayment terms and are repayable on a monthly basis. You will be charged interest on the amount you borrow and the interest rate applied is known as the Annual Percentage Rate or APR. Generally, lenders quote a typical interest rate which is the average rate that over 50% of their successful applicants have received in the past. This is merely an indication of the rate you are likely to get but the exact APR you are offered will depend on the amount you want to borrow, the type of fast loan you choose, the repayment term and your personal situation and credit record. You will also notice that lenders refer to fixed and variable interest rates. A variable rate could rise and fall with the bank base rate so your monthly repayments could also vary throughout the term of your loan, not ideal if you are working to a tight budget. You could however benefit if the bank base rate drops and your interest rate follows suit. With fixed interest rates your monthly repayments are set for the entire term and will not fluctuate with changes in the bank base rate. If a lender quotes a set interest rate then this is the rate that all applicants will receive regardless of the amount of the loan, term or the credit rating of the borrower.

A good way to compare fast loans is to look at the APRs as this is an indication of just how competitive they are. Some lenders may offer lower interest for the same loan if you apply online and this is worth taking a look at. To help you shop around we can give you access to our competitive selection of fast loans from our top lenders – just fill out our simple online form. You’ll get a fast response and enjoy our efficient and professional service.

Commercial Loans

Commercial loans are available at competitive interest rates and repayment terms from our lending market leaders. These can be used to start or expand and develop your business or for the purchasing of equipment. Commercial loans could be the most flexible solution to meet your financial needs but it’s also important to consider the effect of loan repayments on your cash flow and business assets.

When looking at commercial loans you will need to assess your requirements for repayment terms and compare interest rates, known as the Annual Percentage Rate or APR, of different lenders in order to decide which loan is best for you. The repayment term can be anything between one and fifteen years on average and you have two choices with regard to interest rates: fixed interest rates and variable interest rates.

Fixed Rate: The interest rate is set at the beginning of the term of the loan, the percentage given to you being determined by your circumstances, the amount of the loan, the term and your assessed ability to repay the loan by the due date. Your monthly repayment amount remains constant, regardless of changes in the bank base rate which is an advantage if the rate increases but a disadvantage if it drops.

Variable Rate: The interest rate you pay is linked to fluctuations in the bank base rate and can therefore increase or decrease depending on what is happening in the open market. You will consistently pay the current market rate plus an agreed premium but because the base rate can change, your monthly repayments could go up or down. This is an advantage if interest rates fall but you may end up paying a lot more if rates rise.

There are a number of reasons why commercial loans can be a beneficial way of raising the money you need. The first is cash flow. Because your loan repayments are agreed and set for the term of the loan your cash management can be more predictable from month to month. Secondly, you have a large degree of flexibility on how you use the loan, including paying off other higher interest loans. Commercial loans also enable you retain ownership in your company by making it unnecessary for you to raise funds by selling an interest in your company to an outside investor. Interest payments on commercial loans are also tax deductible and are made with pre-tax money. A further advantage is that if you back your loan using capital equipment then you remain the legal owner of the equipment. You must be aware however that if you do not pay back the loan and default on repayments then the lender is able to foreclose on any assets backing the loan and to sell them to pay back the money owing.

Comparing the APRs of commercial loans is a good indication of how competitive loans are but it is also important to pay attention to the small print on the loan agreement. If you think you may be in a position to pay back the loan before the due date then you’ll be wise to check the early redemption policy of the lender. Some lending companies charge up to two months interest if you settle the loan within 3 to 5 years and before the due date, which can increase the total cost of the loan. It may be cheaper to take a loan with a slightly higher APR but with no redemption penalty.

Adverse Credit Loans

Even if you have been declined a loan elsewhere, you may be given the go-ahead for one of our adverse credit loans from our top lenders. We offer a wide variety of products, loan amounts and repayment terms and our team of professionals will do their best to find the most suitable product for you with the lowest interest rate possible.

There are basically two types of loans available, secured and unsecured loans. Secured loans are mainly for homeowners because the borrower uses their home as security or collateral against the loan. This is a relatively low risk for the lender because they are protected in the event of the borrower’s inability to repay the loan – the result is that interest rates are lower for secured adverse credit loans. Unsecured loans require no pledge of collateral to secure the debt but because this represents a higher risk for the lending company, interest rates are higher.

Perhaps you are considering adverse credit loans because you want to consolidate debts from credit and store cards and other loans. If you are finding difficulty meeting your monthly repayments to your creditors then a debt consolidation loan could be an option. You may be able to reduce your monthly repayments to less than the sum of your current debts but you will be paying for a lot longer. These loans also help to reduce the pressure you may be under from your existing creditors and leave you with just one creditor to deal with. Before you find out how much adverse credit loans will cost you, you’ll need to find out exactly how much you owe at present. Ask your creditors for settlement figures and not balances as the total must included any early redemption penalties (an amount charged by some creditors if you settle your debt before the initially agreed due date of the loan).

It is vital that you make sure that you can comfortably cover the repayments on adverse credit loans or you will be putting your home at risk of repossession in order to repay the loan. A basic monthly income and expenditure will also help to give you a clear picture of your financial situation. Don’t forget to include an amount for emergencies and unforeseen expenses.

Being familiar with the different ways in which lenders refer to interest rates will help you to make the right choice of adverse credit loans. The percentage that you are charged monthly by the lending company is called the Annual Percentage Rate or APR. Although lenders quote typical rates, these are only indications and the APR you are offered will depend on the type of loan you get, secured or unsecured, the loan amount, the term and the lender’s flexible assessment of your situation and ability to repay the loan as initially agreed. You will also come across fixed and variable interest rates. Fixed rates mean that your monthly repayments are set at the outset and will remain unchanged no matter what happens to the bank base rate. Variable interest rates on adverse credit loans could cause your monthly repayments to go up and down as the bank base rate fluctuates. This could make it difficult to stick to a budget but you will benefit if interest rates drop. If they increase, your loan could cost you a lot more.

The Benefits Of Payday Loans

Right now the market is huge for payday loans. While many people are against using payday loans—whether for themselves or for anyone—there are many others who sing their praises. These people are often the ones who have experienced the quick-fix help of a payday loan to see them through an unexpected expense, and are recommending and endorsing their use.

And it’s no wonder—there are so many benefits to using payday loans, even though some might be blindsided by the typical high fees and interest rates. One of the biggest benefits of using a payday loan is that you get money when you need it. Payday loans are quick—the application process is quick and the money deposited into your account is quick. Generally speaking, the process of applying for a payday loan takes about 15 to 30 minutes. In addition, by providing your checking account information, the loan amount usually gets automatically deposited into your bank account within the next 24 hours.

Another benefit of using payday loans is that the application process is very simple. You don’t have to go through a long and complicated process in order to get approved for a loan. If you can provide your name, address and other contact information and prove you have a job and a checking account, you’re basically set.

Thirdly, no credit check is required for a payday loan—something that many consumers find attractive. Many people have poor or no credit for any number of reasons, preventing them from receiving certain benefits or services, such as getting a higher credit limit on their credit card or even applying for a credit card in the first place. Payday loans offer a hassle-free way of receiving that much-needed money now with no credit check.

Further, although many are quick to complain about the high costs of borrowing for payday loans, these loans are generally affordable for the responsible borrower. There are usually no upfront costs in applying for and receiving a payday loan, and the interest rate depends on how long it takes you to pay it back. If you’re hit with an unexpected expense in between paychecks and need a loan to cover it and you know you can pay it back by next pay day, then a payday loan is a worthwhile option and can more than pay for itself if it helps you to avoid the high fees from your bank for bounced checks.

Other benefits of using payday loans are that they are extremely convenient, discreet and secure. Cash advance and payday loan stores are littered across all major cities in North America, and applying in person is as easy as driving to the nearest one. You can also apply on the phone, and now there are a plethora of payday loan lenders available on the internet so you can apply online. Payday loans are also discreet, meaning that no one else needs to be involved, and also secure—your financial information remains confidential.

The benefits of using payday loans are plenty, and if you’re suddenly stuck in a financial crunch, you may find that getting a payday loan is just what you need.

Student and Graduate Loans

Student and graduate loans are becoming more popular as student debt continues to rise and students seek alternative ways of dealing with it. The good news is that student or graduate loans are generally available without the need to show steady income or offer security. This is extremely helpful, as most students will not have either of these. Student and graduate loans also come at relatively good interest rates, particularly having regard to the fact that they are completely unsecured. The thing to be wary of is that such loans may lock the student into a long-term relationship with the lender that may not be the most advantageous one.

>Student Debt

Students leaving college today average about £14,000 in debt. More than two thirds of all students must borrow and the vast majority of this debt takes comes from special loans provided by the Student Loan Company. Once the student begins working, the loans will be repaid, but the interest rates are capped at the highly attractive rate of 1% above base rate. This is very low compared to most sources of credit available.

The rules for repayment are simple. Beginning in the April after graduation, 9% of all earnings above £15,000 are automatically taken to repay the Student Loan Company. The loans are therefore very safe, as they are only due once you join the workforce and begin to earn a steady salary.

>Graduate Loans

Graduate loans on the other hand, are far more expensive than student loans. These loans are generally offered on graduation, when student loans are no longer available, to cover the costs of transition from student life to working life. This may include finding a new place to live, buying work clothes etc. Graduate loans will also be used to pay off student overdrafts, which are offered to all students as standard features of their bank accounts. The point to remember is that while graduate loans are relatively cheap when compared to personal loans, they are far more expensive than student loans.

>Employment

If you have a job lined up, you may be able to borrow money from your new employer at a far better rate. This is one alternative to graduate loans. Another alternative is career development loans, which are available to those studying for certain professional qualifications such as medicine or law. Many high street lenders offer these.

It can be very easy to lose control of debt while studying. The credit is very easy to obtain and repayments so far into the future that they don’t seem real. However, high student debt can seriously hamper attempts to buy a home once you enter the workforce, or save for a pension. The trends show that while student debt continues to increase, graduates are faring better, relying less on borrowing and more on salaries, to meet their needs.

Business Loans: Finding The Right One

Business loans are not very difficult to come by these days as might be thinking. What with so many governmental and private financial lenders vying with each other for a share of the business loan market, there are brighter chances for businessmen and women to get one provided they have their credit ratings and documents right in place.

Small Business Loans

Small business persons feel the need for loans when they are short of investment at the time of start-up or when they find their business can do better if financed. Small businesses can approach US Small Business Administration (SBA) for loans tailored for different needs of businesses.

Critical Analysis of Business Loan Needs

When it is time, you know you can’t proceed without financing either the expansion or augmentation of your business. But many conditions and issues need addressed critically at this stage.

1. If yours is a start-up, it’s an uphill task as it is generally deemed that your credit history is still to develop. So much so, lenders perceive you as a risk. Financing most part of it through friends and relatives plus own resources augers well initially by lowered interest burden.

2. If the loan is for working capital, chances are better for you on following counts. You have credit history, credit score, possible assets for collateralization and business experience plus ready market/orders.

3. Business expansion loans are based on your projected growth in turnover and profit margins.

4. Loan processing times play crucial roles in choosing loans and lenders. Choosing lenders that take longer may harm your business.

5. A line of credit can suffice working capital needs some times. Here the rate of interest will not burden much as you pay only for the used portion.

6. Nature of the need more or less decides the type and tenure of the loan. For example. Working capital requirement may be taken care off by line of credit; equipment or real estate purchase requires a long term loans (Basic 7 (a) loan guarantee) etc.

7. Also playing critically here is where you hunt for loans. Grants, SBA guaranteed loans have different interest rates, documentations and processing than private institutions which process faster but have stringent terms and conditions.

Loans benefit by retiring old debts at new, relaxed payment terms because of consolidation. If this is your intention, highlighting the different payables contrasted against each other stands a better chance. Lenders are quick to catch this point as the accrued benefits are in an unambiguous state.

Rather than anything, it is your innovativeness which opens avenues for loans. Rationalizing may even reduce the need from the original loan estimate.

Benefits of Payday Loans

It happens to everybody: a week before payday, your roof starts to leak, your computer crashes and the technician tells you that it’s cheaper to buy a new one than to have it repaired, or a friend invites you to join her for a weekend vacation at a hotel with a limited promo.

These are the financial emergencies that you can’t quite factor into your budget. You can afford to pay for it, you just don’t have the money with you right now— and for one reason or another, you can’t use a credit card. One option available to you is a payday loan.

Payday loans are short-term loans where you are lent a small amount to tide you over until your salary comes in. Many payday loan companies can be found on the Internet (allowing for a quick search, for that quick solution to an urgent problem). These companies, in turn, will be the one to find the lending institutions that can spot you for that amount. Your application will be processed within days, and when you need it, the money appears in your account, ready to be spent as you wished. They simply withdraw the money from the bank account, with interest, when your salary comes in.

When should you get a payday loan?

1. When the purposes of your loan may not be accepted by other lending institutions.

One advantage of a payday loan is that you can use it for whatever purposes you like; you do not need to justify your expense. Whether it’s a vacation to France, a new laptop, or your daughter’s tuition fees, you do not have to go through the lengthy and often stringent evaluation process that other lending institutions demand. Try telling a bank officer that you always wanted to see Paris. You won’t get very far. When you take a payday loan, you don’t even have to explain.

2. When you need the money very quickly.

Another advantage is that it is very quickly processed, you have the money in days ,whereas most lending institutions will take days just to look at your application. If you process the payday loan on a Monday, you’ll get it before the end of the week. If you turn it in on a Friday, you may have to wait a little longer because of the non-banking holidays, but it’s still going to move much faster than if you had applied for an advance at your office.

3. When you have credit card problems.

Ironically, it’s the people who need money most who have a hard time borrowing it. But not everyone is so financially secure that you had a gold credit card to charge all emergencies. You may be struggling with maxed out credit cards, but then your car breaks down, or your child gets sick. In this situation, payday loans may be your only solution. At least you know it’s available.

4. When you want a short-term debt.

And since the amount you borrow is paid back to your creditor by the very next payday, you aren’t tempted to sit on the debt as you would if you had used your credit card (or borrowed from your mother).. In a way, it is a good solution for those who would’ve paid for that emergency in cash, except for a small logistical problem of when your pay check is released.

2 Types Of Graduate Loans

Normally, graduate students pay for tuition fee more than undergraduate. Therefore, the main purpose of graduate loans is to help fund their education. There are two venues in which graduate students can obtain graduate loans: the government and private entities, (who provide alternative graduate loans). Each of these is discussed in more detail below.

1. Government Graduate Loans
This type of loan is the same as undergraduate loan. The only difference is name. Like undergraduates, graduates have the opportunity to get a Stafford or Perkins loan from the government.

Stafford graduate loans are available to any graduate student regardless of their financial situation. Two types of Stafford graduate loans exist: subsidized and unsubsidized. The difference in the two lies in who pays the interest. For subsidized Stafford graduate loans, the government pays the interest. Students pay for the interest in unsubsidized Stafford graduate loans, though there is the option of not having to make payments until after graduation.

A Perkins graduate loan is available to students who demonstrate financial hardship. It has an interest rate of only 5 percent and can finance up to $4,000 of the graduate student's education. For graduate students who are adversely limited economically, the Perkins loan is not a bad option. However, one must keep in mind that payments are still expected to be received promptly and perpetually. In extreme circumstances it is possible to request a deferment on loan payments until one is able to pay normally.

To apply for either the Perkins or Stafford graduate loans, one must submit a FAFSA form to the government. When the form has been processed the government will send a SAR (Student Aide Report) which will give further instructions on how to apply for these loans.

2. Alternate Graduate Loans
This loan has also been known as private graduate loans, are loans funded by non-governmental entities. Companies offering these loans could be banks, credit card agencies or any other enterprise interested in helping graduate students secure student loans. The Education Resources Institute (TERI) is an example of a company offering this type of loan. It is called the Act Graduate Student loan program. The application can be filled out online at http://gradloans.com. Decisions are received in as little as 15 minutes.

You can first try to visit websites of all the major banks because many do offer student loans services. Or you can use a search engine by typing the name of banks you know. Some banks will even offer graduate loan comparison charts to help their customers see how their loans stack up against the competitors. These charts can serve as a further aide in researching graduate loans.

A Beginner's Guide To Personal Loans

If you’re looking to borrow a sum of money then the chances are that you’ll look to take out a personal loan rather than any other type. The term personal loan is simply used to describe standard types of borrowing – i.e. a loan taken out by a consumer rather than a business for general purposes (but not for a mortgage which is obviously dealt with by a mortgage loan).

The majority of personal loans can be used for any purpose and the chances are that your lender won’t even be hugely interested in what you want the money for. Their primary concern is checking that you’ll be able to repay your loan! This situation can be different with specialist loans (which also fall under the banner of personal loans) such as home improvement loans and car loans, for example. These loans are expected to be used for their specified purpose – i.e. a major DIY project or a car purchase.

Apart from this fact the majority of personal loans work in much the same way. You apply for your loan, get your money and then spend it as you intended. You will then make a regular payment (usually on a monthly basis) to your lender to repay the money you borrowed for the period of time in your loans agreement. This payment will be made up of a sum of money that goes to pay off the original sum you borrowed plus a sum that goes towards paying off the interest you’ll be charged. So, at the end of your loan term you’ll have repaid your original borrowings and the interest attached to your particular loan.

One difference worth noting here is that between unsecured and secured personal loans. Unsecured loans are given to consumers without security (or to those that choose not to use available security to get a loan). These loans will generally have higher interest rates attached to them than secured loan options and you may be restricted in how much you can actually borrow here. Secured loans, on the other hand, will have lower interest rates and can be taken out for higher sums. The reason behind this is the fact that this kind of loan will use your property (usually your home) as a guarantee against your loan. So, if you default on your repayments your lender has a cast-iron guarantee that they will get their money back via the property you used as security.

If you aren’t a home owner then you will generally be restricted to taking out unsecured loans here but, if you do own your own property, then you’ll have to make a choice between a secured or unsecured loan. This really boils down to personal preference and how comfortable you are using your home as security in order to get a better deal. In the majority of cases this isn’t an issue and most people will opt for secured loans to get the right kinds of rates and loan amounts for their purposes.

Do be careful to make sure that you understand both how personal loans work and how to get the best rates for the loans you take out before you sign up to anything. There are hundreds of sites on the Internet that can give you more detailed information or that can even help you apply for a loan – take a look online for personal loans in a UK search engine (such as msn.co.uk for example) before you start for some useful information.
